Oh my, thank you all for being so patient with me! I know Reader Appreciation Monday should be out every Monday but the holidays certainly took me off track. I'm back and ready to thank you all for the amazing comments I've been receiving. The biggest compliment I could receive from you all is the love I receive. I love hearing from you and reading your stories and finding new blogs. It's been the greatest reward, as you all know. Now, on to the comments!
Joy, you cracked me up with this comment mainly because of the last statement..."I just realized this is out of order..." LMAO. I do hope you jumped on Kristy's bandwagon. I certainly feel she deserves it after all the hard work she put in with her blog on FFF. I hope you find an elephant belt too! I'll be wearing a boatload out of it I'm sure during FW! You should apply for an Examiner position when you get some free time. It's a great release even if it's not great pay at first. xx
It's kind of crazy how life works. I most certainly did not expect such support from other bloggers regarding my support for Kristy. It just goes to show that we are such a loving, talented and kind-spirited community. The love I received from you guys just because I supported Kristy (for those that don't remember, I applied for that position and didn't get it) and it makes me so happy to know that we are all rooting for her! Thanks V!
Oh B, yet another supporter! I totally agree, I'm so glad she made it to the finals- she really knows how to communicate and relate which is important as a brand. She's amazing. And thank you thank you thank you for your compliments! You are too dang sweet!
www.beautifully-invisible.com (PS. I don't know why but sometimes when I read your blog name it makes me sad. You could, no one could or should, ever be invisible. <3)
I started a mini-series within the LLL series and was so pleased with the response. I received so many great stories...those that shared openly and those that shared privately. I loved hearing from you all about the trials you went through and the experiences you had of similar affects. Thank you all for sharing!
Snackface! I couldn't find a URL for you! But anyhow, I loved your story because it shows you both pushed through and conquered what needed to be conquered to move forward and that's the realization of one another likeness. There are moments we get so wrapped up in each other's differences that we forget how similar one another really is.
Ria Michelle, you said it in the easiest amount of words..."one of our common interests is EACH OTHER." That couldn't of said better. I wish there were more moments when I realized this. Thank you for commenting doll!
Chelsea, once again, a great comment! Those stages pretty much happen to all of us. We go through the cycles, filing out the ones that stay and the ones that "go"...go being the operative word. We bring them in and take them out, over and over. Women! HAHA!
Another great comment from you B! You always open up to me and I couldn't appreciate that more. You seem like such a strong woman and have endured so much. It's great to see that you have the love and respect for one another to push forward.
Margot! It was wonderful to finally meet you! Love your hair too too much, gotta say! Thanks for being a great reader and I appreciate the comments and the love!! Hope to see you soon!
I can't wait to see you either Christina! It should be a frigid yet exciting again! Thanks for continuing to follow after FW! It's great to see!
HAHAH! Heart you love bug! <3
Darling darling girl. It makes me so happy to see you commenting during such a hectic schedule with FFF and your blog AND everything else! It shows great commitment on your part and I'm so proud to have you around<3. Great luck and I can't wait to hear the results!
HAHA. Oh Ranier! Your comments always make me smile and/or laugh! And yes, Santa Baby got a little action there ;)
If I went out for New Years in 2010, this is what I would of worn. Too bad I went straight to bed even before it struck midnight!
Explain, explain! What does the belt have to do with my resolutions? HAHA, I'm a slow kid, I know! Thanks for commenting!
Ashe, seriously, you had me dying that this description. I want to put in my bio or something!! My mom cracked up hysterically at that because we both sat there after we read it, visualized it, and bursting into laughter!! Great description!
I love that you made that your New Year's resolution! It's a great way to start playing with your wardrobe in a new light. It's a great feeling too! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Wow, this post received a great response. It was such a spur of the moment post actually. I was talking with mom and she had mentioned the letters my brother and sisters wrote before the Millineium and she suggested writing a letter to myself, giving it to her and opening it up 10 years from now. I decided to share it with you all instead! I'm so glad you all received this well and even got retweeted by some of my favorite well-dressed men.
Leilani, it was so nice to see your comment. I'm so glad I gave words of encouragement, it's such a rewarding feeling! <3
I think so too! I think this whole thrifting/vintage scouring isn't going to go away. I can't help it. I'm obsessed. And yes,I hope everyone wrote a letter who wrote this. Even if they didn't post it or gave it to someone, I hope they wrote one...just to see what they WOULD say to themeselves!
<333 I'm so glad it touched you B!
Ahh! Samantha! I heart when you comment. It's always so thought-out. And yes, words to live by are my own...can't even go back on them now. "Love is powerful, so engulf yourself in it". :)
I can't decide if I regret this post or not. Not because of what was posted but the fact that there are so many photos. I feel like it takes forever to load. Am I alone on that one?
Will you do a post on this V? I'd love to see it! I bet you it would be phenomenal- so many goodies!!
I'm actually kind of looking forward to how it ends as well! HAHA ;) Thanks for commenting Adelle<3
I think both Erika and Hell Notes for Beauty were spot on. Thanks guys for weighing in and making sure that I wasn't alone in my feelings. We, as women, are powerful in our outright thoughts but on the inside, we're analyzing, pressuring and expecting too much of ourselves...it's so harmful. But I'm glad to know that I can relate to ladies like yourselves.
Silly me, I should of told you guys I WAS wearing make-up in these shots! They were taken before the New Year and before my "resolution". Although, I appreciate the love regardless ;) I wish my face looked like that without makeup lol.
Chelsea, you cracked me up with this one..the bean bags were the bags that the coffee beans come in. You're adorable. BTW, I saw on Twitter what you said and I'm glad you're trying it to. It's kind of relieving actually!
I'm so excited to say that I'll be attending MBFW again this season. Although this is my first season in the snow so we'll see how I last. I've stocked up on as much outerwear I could find thrifting...I have over 10 coats now.
Yes doll, we must meet up! It will happen, even if it's a short coffee break or a meet-up at the fountain in Lincoln Center! And yes, I'll be rocking these looks like no other!
I swear by Looklet.com now. It's by the easiest site to use..better than most out there!
We are getting both!!! Can't wait to meet up dollface!
I can't wait to actually sport these too haha! I went scouring for some great thrifted pieces to pull these looks I created for NYFW! Hopefully I'll be successful! I totally wish you were going but I'm sure we'll meet up when I'm down south again! I'll email you as soon as I know when I'm heading that way! <3 Thanks Dylana!
